COVID-19 CLASS & COACHING UPDATES – 2021

IN-STUDIO CAMERA ACTING CLASSES are CURRENTLY ON HOLD until we can resume meeting in-person safely, once again, hopefully soon. Until then…

ZOOM CAMERA ACTING CLASS is offered on THURSDAYS, from 7-9 PM. Attendance to this class is by invitation and reservation only. Class is held if at least 4 students can be in attendance, any given night.

To be invited to join, it’s currently a requirement to take the one hour private with Marla, on the “Essential Basics of Camera Acting” to learn the rules of screen acting, what an actor can and can’t do in front of cameras, eye-lines, script analysis and cold reading technique. Cost: $150. Currently via Zoom Only.

The Cost for Classes: $50 pay-as-you-go, or packages of 4 consecutive classes for $180, saves $20. 

PRIVATE COACHING: Currently Zoom Only. Hour sessions are held  afternoons, between 1-5 PM. Some evening and weekends times available. Book by calling, or texting Marla at 480-239-3286.

Cost: $150 per hour. Continuing weekly, or biweekly private students: $100 per hour. Students in class the same week, $75 per hour.

COACH/SHOOTS: For all Taped and Self-tape Auditions. Zoom Only. I coach and read with you on one device, while you shoot yourself on another. Works great, as my actors are getting cast.

Cost for Coach/Shoots: $100 per hour. For Marla’s weekly acting students, the cost is discounted to $75. Most auditions are now Self-tape or Eco-cast.
